Rencor Development announces the grand openning of the Baywood Medical Center, located just ¼ mile west of Valley Lutheran Hospital. The first three of the six planned buildings have been completed.

Location
The site was selected due to its close proximity to Banner Baywood Medical Center (formerly Valley Lutheran). This a 231-licensed bed facility that serves the needs of the growing East Valley by providing complete acute care services, including a state-of-the-art Center of Woman’s Health and Outpatient Services Center. The hospital has completed construction on a $90 million addition. The expansion included a new 7-story tower (adding 123 beds) and a 640 vehicle parking structure. Also located on the campus, Banner Heart Hospital provides specialized cardiology services. Valley Lutheran currently employs more than 1,500 healthcare professionals and support staff. Combined with Mesa Lutheran Medical Center, located just 8 miles west, the facilities have more than 1,100 physicians.
